Song I have been listening to

Imagen
Lately I have been listening to the "tiny desk" by "Paco amoroso" and "Ca7riel", it is not a song as such, it is a mini concert adapting the artists' songs with only instruments, on this occasion they made an adaptation with a Latin jazz style, I don't know very well what genre it is since it is something very different and refreshing to listen to and that is why I like it a lot. The first time I heard it was thanks to my friend Luna about two weeks ago when we met at another friend's house and there she showed them to us. The interesting thing is that "Paco Amoroso" and "Ca7riel" more ralize the urban genre with a mix of techno, so this tiny desk is something very different from the music they make. This is the tiny desk if you want to listen to it , I highly recommend it!! And here is another song of them, so you can make the comparison :)

Your Semester so far

This semester has been one of many changes in both my academic and personal life. I switched from the Industrial program to the Integral program because I wasn’t enjoying the courses last semester. This time, I’m focusing on Graphic Design subjects, and I’m loving it. It feels less stressful than Industrial, and I’m finally studying something I truly enjoy. If I had to pick a favorite class, it would be Editorial Illustration. The professor is teaching us how to master watercolor techniques, and since drawing and painting have always been my passions, it’s something I look forward to every week. The class I like the least would be English. It’s not that I dislike the content, but having it so early in the morning makes it tough to get up, and I have to deal with crowded public transportation. Still, Professor Simion’s lessons are fun, and they’ve really helped me improve my English skills. Time management has been a lot easier this semester. Compared to last term, where I barely had ti...

A School Teacher

Imagen
Miss Catherine was my art teacher at Manquecura Valle Lo Campino, and she made a significant impact on my life. I usually don’t get close to teachers, but she was one of the first to truly support my passion for art. She encouraged me to pursue design and assured me that I shouldn’t be afraid to follow my dreams. Although Miss Catherine didn’t have the best reputation and was often seen as strict, she meant a lot to me. Most of my classmates would fool around during her classes, but I took her lessons seriously, and she recognized that. I remember learning various art techniques, but the ones that stuck with me the most were pointillism and scaling a drawing by hand. These skills have been invaluable to me even today. As a reserved girl, I felt that she was one of the few teachers who genuinely cared about my interests. I hold her in high regard because of her unwavering support. I believe the last time I saw her was on my last day at school during graduation. I gave her a chocolate ba...
